Medical Aid for Vietnam was founded by Dr. David Neima, Dr. Hugh Parsons and Rev. Tien Tran in 1994 in BC, Canada. Its purpose is to work with local doctors, clinics and hospitals to help the disabled children, the poor and the sick people of Vietnam.
In may 2005, our project extended to the U.S and established under the name Medical Aid Project (MAP), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in Chicago, Illinois USA.
You can join as a volunteer member of our Medical Aid for Vietnam team or you can support us in various ways. Besides financial supports, our team needs medicines, medical, vision, and dental equipment and supplies. Malnutrition and physical pains are common phenomena among the poor so we need lots of vitamins and pain relievers.
We rely on your support and generosity to lessen the suffering of the people. Your donation of any amount will make a valuable difference. 100% of your donations go directly to the Medical mission.
