Our History

Medical Aid for Vietnam was founded by Dr. David Neima, Dr. Hugh Parsons and Rev.  Tien Tran in 1994 in BC, Canada.  Its purpose is to work with local doctors, clinics and hospitals to help the disabled children, the poor and the sick people of Vietnam.

It is a charitable project functioned under the umbrella and support of EMAS (Education and Medical Aid Society) and CMDS (Christian Medical and Dental Society) of Canada.

In may 2005, our project extended to the U.S and established under the name Medical Aid Project (MAP), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in Chicago, Illinois USA.
